Bulldogs Fall at CSI in CUNYAC Play

Staten Island, NY---Following a 3-0 start to 2018, the Brooklyn College men's basketball team dropped their third straight CUNYAC game at the College of Staten Island this evening, 99-67.  Brooklyn moves to 3-13 overall and 3-5 in CUNYAC with the road loss.  CSI improves to 9-7 and 7-1.  The Bulldogs return home on Friday to host Hunter College in the second half of a CUNYAC doubleheader at the West Quad Center.  Tip-off is slated for 7:15 pm following the women's game.  

How It Happened

-The Dolphins used a 10-3 run to take a 23-point lead with 9:37 left in regulation.  CSI led by as many as 35 points late in the game.  
-Brooklyn led early in the game, with their last lead with 13:47 left in the first half following a made three buried by senior guard Maynard Grant IV.

-NIne different Bulldogs reached the scoring column tonight.
-Brooklyn shot 25% (6-24) from beyond the arc as a team. 
-BC committed 15 turnovers to the Dolphins eight. 

Leading the Bulldogs

-Senior guard Ben Batash scored a team-high 14 points.
-Freshman forward and reigning back-to-back CUNYAC Rookie of the Week, Alpha Bah, just missed a double-double finishing with 13 points and nine rebounds.

-Stephen Flagg and Adeola Launji combined for 42 points with Flagg pour in 22 off of the bench.
