Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College men's basketball team buried eight three point field goals in the first half to go on its way to its second win in a row in conference play over CCNY, 74-64, at the West Quad Center this evening. BC improves to 6-14 overall and 6-6 in conference with the win. CCNY drops to 1-20 and 1-13 with the loss. Brooklyn returns to the court on the road in non-conference action at Cairn University as part of the CSAC-CUNYAC Challenge on Thursday. Tip-off is set for 3:00 pm at Cairn.
How It Happened
-Taking the lead for good on the first bucket of the game, the Bulldogs jumped out to a 22-point lead, 30-8, with 4:37 remaining in the first half, thanks in part to a 7-0 run to start the game.
-Junior forward Daniel Shulman had a double-double by halftime with 14 points and 12 rebounds, shooting 4-7 from behind the arc.
-CCNY chipped away at the Bulldog lead in the second half, but sophomore wing, Henry O'Reilly, knocked three three-point field goals to spoil the Beavers' runs.
