Bulldogs Cruise to 12th Straight, Defeating CCNY 76-37

Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn Women saw all 10 players who saw action contribute in both the scoring and rebounding columns, as the Bulldogs won their 12th straight, and improved to 19-2, 11-1 CUNYAC, in a 76-37 victory over visiting CCNY.  The Beavers fall to 13-7 & 7-6 in conference play.  Brooklyn dominated from start to finish, opening a 10-0 lead to start, and never trailed in the game.  

How it Happened
-Captains Alexandra Moogan (6) and Karen Mak (4), combined for all 10 points in a 10-0 run to start the game, and the Bulldogs never looked back, as they took a 20-point margin into the locker room at the half, dominating the boards in the first half of play, 36-16. 
-Brooklyn came out in the second half and stepped on the gas as they opened the third period on an 8-0 run, capped by a Jasmine Hansgen bucket, to build the lead to 28. 
-Brooklyn led by as many as 40, 73-33, before winning by the final.

Box Score Breakdown
-Brooklyn dominated the boards, more than doubling the Beavers on the glass, 69-34.
-Karen Mak just missed her second triple double, as the senior guard went for 16 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists in only 25 minutes of action.
-The Bulldogs dominated every statistical category assists (18-10), blocked shots (9-3), and steals (15-7)

Leading the Bulldogs
-Freshman Taylor George, fresh off being named CUNYAC Rookie of the Week for the 4th time this season, led all scorers with 17 points.
-Classmate Chanel Jemmott had a game-high 19 boards while also chipping in with 15 points
-Mak's near triple double earned her a game-high in assists, and a double-double.
-Weronica Green led all players with four blocked shots.

-Debra Chan led the way for City with 11 points
-Ashley Brooks earned a team-high with 10 rebounds.
