New York, NY---Thirteen is now the magic number of consecutive victories for the BC women's basketball team as they cruised to a 79-46 conference win at Baruch College this evening. Brooklyn improves to 20-2 overall and 12-1 in CUNYAC while Baruch dropped to 4-14 and 4-9. The Bulldogs will host conference rival, College of Staten Island, on Thursday, 2/8, at the West Quad Center in their final home game of the regular season on Senior Night. Tip- off is set for 5:00 pm.
How It Happened
-Three Bulldog players combined for 42 of BC's 79 points on the evening.
-Never trailing from the opening tip, the Bulldogs jumped out to a 10-0 lead to start the game, holding the Bearcats to five points in the first quarter.
-Brooklyn would lead by as many as 35 points late in the third quarter.
-The Bulldogs scored 28 points off of the Bearcats' 30 turnovers.
