Brooklyn, NY---Despite playing their third game in four days, the Brooklyn College women's basketball didn't show much fatigue as they rolled to a 78-52 non-conference win over the College of St. Elizabeth at the West Quad Center this afternoon. Brooklyn improved to 11-2 overall on the season with their fourth win in a row. College of St. Elizabeth drops to 2-8 with the loss. The Bulldogs return to conference action at CCNY on Tuesday. Tip-off is set for 5:00 pm.
How It Happened
-Grabbing the lead from the opening tip, the Bulldogs jumped out to a 16-point lead, 24-8, following a three buried by junior wing,
Alexandra Moogan, with a little under a minute to play in the first quarter.
-The Bulldogs continued their run in the second quarter, taking 29 point, 49-20, lead again following a three-point make by Moogan with twelve seconds to go in the first half.
-BC took their largest lead of the game (31) in the first 1:15 of the second half after a fastbreak lay-up finished by senior guard
Karen Mak.
