Buffalo, NY---Despite battling to the final buzzer, the Brooklyn College men's basketball team dropped its first loss of the season in the Coles Classic to Johnson and Wales, 75-66, this afternoon at Buffalo State. BC moves to 2-1 to start the season while the Cougars improved to 2-2 with the victory. The Bulldogs close out their trip to Buffalo tomorrow against Buffalo State at 2:00 pm. How It Happened
-With the game tied, 60-60, the Cougars went on a 6-0 run for the 66-60 advantage with 2:06 left in regulation. Brooklyn cut the lead lead to as few as three following a pair of free-throws converted by junior
Jordan Wright, but JWU responded four unanswered points to kick their lead back up to seven with a minute left in the contest.
