New York, NY---A week since its last match in California, the Brooklyn College men's volleyball team took care of business at Yeshiva University this afternoon, rolling to a 3-0 (25-25-16, 14, 25-8) non-conference victory. The Bulldogs improve to 2-5 with the win while YU moves to 1-1. Brooklyn will be back in action at nearby St. Joseph's College Brooklyn on Friday, February 16. Opening serve is set for 7:00 pm.
By the Set
-Tied 3-3 in the opening set, the Bulldogs rallied for 14 straight points.
-The Bulldogs jumped out to a 4-0 lead to start the second set before YU chipped away early to cut the BC lead to 6-3. Already leading 14-8, BC went on a 4-0 run to run away with the set.
-The teams would find themselves tied 2-2 through the first four points of the third set before the Bulldogs went on a 9-0 run. BC continued to dominate the set, closing out the match with four straight scores.
Leading the Bulldogs
-Sophomore middle hitter, Ahmed Moawad, led the way with a match-high 15 kills and a block assist.
-Junior outside hitter Vaughn Titus finished with five kills and six digs.
-Junior setter, Sayuj Zachariah, assisted on 14 kills on the afternoon.

-Chaim Rubin finished with a team-high six kills.
