Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College men's volleyball team rolled to its second straight sweep this evening, defeating Yeshiva University, 3-0 (25-8,25-15,25-11). BC improves to 5-7 with the non-conference win while Yeshiva drops to 1-6. The Bulldogs remain home to host New Jersey City University on Thursday at 7:00 pm.
By the Set
-The Bulldogs jumped on the Macs from the start, scoring the first six points of the match capped by a kill put away by sophomore middle hitter, Ahmed Moawad. Already leading 6-2, Brooklyn began to put the first set completely out of reach with a five-point rally.
-Yeshiva would come back to tie the second set 6-6 after being down 3-0 to start. Leading 12-9, the Bulldogs began to pull away with an 8-1 run. BC's Sebastian Giordano closed out the set with a kill assisted by Akbarali Aliyev.
-The Macs led for the first time in the match early in the third set, 4-3, before the Bulldogs responded with a three-score rally that gave them the lead for good. Brooklyn closed out the match with six point rally Moawad highlighted the run with a pair of kills.

-Moawad finished with a match-high seven kills while hitting .778. Junior outside hitter Vaughn Titus finished with six kills and four digs.
-Aliyev and sophomore setter Michael Valentin finished with 13 assists a piece.
-Senior middle blocker
Ian Miranda and Giordano finished with three blocks each.

-Chaim Aryeh Rubin had a team-high three kills and pair of aces.
