Bronx, NY--The Brooklyn College men's volleyball team had its six-game win-streak ended this evening, falling at Lehman College, 3-0 (25-14, 25-21, 25-16) in a non-conference match. Brooklyn moves to 9-8 with the loss while Lehman improves to 10-8. The Bulldogs return home on Thursday, March 15th, for a non-conference match against the College of Staten Island on Homecoming Night at 6:00 pm. The first 125 fans will receive a FREE Brooklyn College Athletics t-shirt.
By the Set
-With the teams exchanging points early in the opening set, the Lightning would rally for seven straight points to take a 16-8 lead that the Bulldogs would not be able to recover from.
-Brooklyn looked like they'd bounce back in the second set, jumping out to a 7-2 lead, but Lehman clawed its way back to take a late 19-16 lead. The Lightning closed out the set with two straight kills.
-Again close to start the third set, the Lightning used a five-score rally to take a 14-7 lead. The Bulldogs hung around, trailing 19-15 down the stretch, but the closed out the match by scoring four of the final five points.

-Reigning CUNYAC Player of the Week, Vaughn Titus, put awa a team-high eight kills. Sophomore middle hitter, Ahmed Moawad, added six kills. Moawad also finished with a team-high two blocks.
-Freshman opposite, Akbarali Aliyev, had a team-high nine assists.

-Roberto Ventura Diaz finished with a match-high 16 kills.
-Jose Bautista set for a match-high 24 assists.
