Bryn Mawr, PA---Trailing 3-0 at halftime, the Brooklyn College women's soccer wasn't able to get it going in the second period leading to a 4-0 non-conference loss at Rosemont College this afternoon. Brooklyn moves to .500 (1-1) after winning its Season Opener a week ago. Rosemont improved to 1-4 with the victory. The Bulldogs remain on the road, traveling to Rutgers-Newark on Monday, September 17. Tip-off is set for 7:30 pm.
"Nervous start and early mistakes put us behind," BC Head Coach,
Patrick Horne would comment after the match. "We had a much better second half. Play was more consistent final forty-five minutes."
Rosemont scored the game-winner in the 10' of the match. The Ravens scored their second in the 16' before scoring again less than a minute later for the 3-0 advantage heading in to break.
The Ravens out-shot the Bulldogs 23-3 including 10-2 in shots-on-goal. BC senior midfielder,
Keri Kenna, finished with two of the Bulldogs' three shots including a shot-on-goal.
BC freshman keeper,
Amanpreet Kaur, finished the match with six saves in all ninety minutes between the sticks.
Rosemont's Maciana Mazzeo scored two goals for the match.
