Brooklyn, NY----The Brooklyn College women's tennis team improved to 2-0 to start the season this afternoon, pulling out a 5-4 victory over Purchase College in its Home Opener.  Purchase moved to 0-1 to start its season.  The Bulldogs will go back on the road on Monday, September 17, for a makeup match with Farmingdale State.  

BC won two of three doubles matches to start the dual match, which made the difference this afternoon as the teams split in singles action.  The Bulldogs would win singles flights No. 1 through No. 3 while PC took flights No. 4 through No. 6.
