Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College women's soccer team dropped its first match at home this evening, 9-1, to Wesley College this evening at Brooklyn College Field. BC moves to 1-3 on the season while Wesley improved to 4-1. The Bulldogs remain on their home pitch on Saturday, September 22, as they open CUNYAC play against John Jay. Kickoff is set for 12:00 pm.

Keri Kenna as the Wesley goalie came out of the net for a clear shot and Kenna's third goal of the season. Gomez now has a team-high four assists through the four matches played.
Wesley was the much busier team offensively especially in the first half, firing off 14 shots including 13 on-goal to the Bulldogs' four shots. The Wolverines knocked in the game-winner in the 1' and added eight more goals to take a commanding 9-0 lead.
The Bulldogs did a better job in the backs breaking up any Wesley attack in the second half.
Kenna finished the match with six shots for the match including two on-goal.
Wesley's Amanda Moccaldi and Emily Caldarelli finished with two goals a piece. Caldarelli added four assists to her evening, finishing with eight points for the match.
