Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Men's Soccer Edged at Lehman, 3-2

Bronx, NY---The Brooklyn College men's soccer team got on the board first, but couldn't hold off back-to-back CUNYAC champ, Lehman College, this afternoon, eventually falling, 3-2.  BC moves to 2-10 overall and suffered its first CUNYAC loss dropping to 2-1 in conference.  Lehman improved to 5-5 and 3-1 in CUNYAC with the win.  Brooklyn returns to Brooklyn College Field on Wednesday, October 3, to host College of Staten Island at 4:00 pm.

Following his game-winning goal in overtime on Wednesday against Hunter, sophomore forward, Carlos Calzadilla, gave Brooklyn a 1-0 lead in the 7' on a cross from sophomore back, Randy Urgiles.

Lehman responded with three unanswered goals by the 49' minute.  With plenty of time for a comeback, the Bulldogs scored in the 58' as junior midfielder, Steven Sabogal, connected with junior forward, Julian Calame-Mars, on a cross for a shot inside the box.  However, it would be the Bulldogs' last shot of the match.

The Bulldogs had an edge in shots-on-goal with eight to the Lightning's six.

BC sophomore goalie, Balint Barabas, finished with three saves in all ninety minutes of action.
