New York, NY---Never trailing the entire contest, the Brooklyn College women's basketball team cruised to its third straight conference win tonight at John Jay College, 99-72. The Bulldogs improve to 9-6 overall and 6-1 in CUNYAC with the win while the Bloodhounds dropped to 9-7 and 4-4 in the conference. Brooklyn continues conference play at home on Friday against Medgar Evers. Tip-off is set for 5:00 pm.
How It Happened
-BC senior guard opened the Bulldogs' scoring frenzy with a three-point make seven seconds into the contest. The Bulldogs would go on to score over 20 points in every quarter.
-Brooklyn led by as many as thirty points in the second half.
-The Bulldogs shot 50% from the field for the game including 46.2% (12-26) from beyond the arc.
-Five Bulldogs reached double-figures in scoring including four starters.

-Sophomore guard,
Taylor George, led the way with a game-high 23 points in 28 minutes making 5-7 from beyond the arc.
-Junior forward,
Chanel Jemmott, added 22 points and grabbed a game-high 17 rebounds.
-Moogan finished with 18 points while shooting 4-7 from long-range.
-Senior forward,
Jasmine Hansgen, just missed a double-double finishing with 14 points and grabbing nine boards.
-Junior guard,
Grace Martinez-Espina, dropped in 13 points off of the bench.
Leading the Bloodhounds
-All'aha Albright scored a team-high 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
-Katie Healy added 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
-Three other Bloodhounds reached double-figures in scoring.
