Brooklyn, NY---Following a scoreless first half, the Brooklyn College women's soccer team scored three goals in the final 45 minutes for a 3-0 shutout win over the University of Valley Forge this evening. Brooklyn improves to 3-6-1 with their third win in four matches while Valley Forge drops to 2-8 with the non-conference loss. The Bulldogs will look to keep it going in conference play against York College this Saturday at Queens College at noon.

Anna Curran, scored the game-winner in 47' assisted by junior midfielder,
Jailene Lucero.
-The Bulldogs kept the pressure on the Patriots from there on and in 61' sophomore midfielder,
Rachel Gomez, scored her eighth goal of the season assisted by sophomore midfielder, Andrea Cruz-Ibanez, and Curran straight up the middle of the field.
-Gomez net her second goal of the game only eight minutes later on an assist from Curran for her second helper of the match.

Carmen Proffitt, recorded her third clean sheet in maroon and gold finishing with three saves on the evening.
