Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Two Second Half Goals Lift CSI Over the Bulldogs, 2-0

Brooklyn, NY---After defeating conference leading Lehman on Saturday for their first win of the season, the Brooklyn College men's soccer team had another former conference power and probationary NCAA Division II member, College of Staten Island, on the ropes this afternoon.  However, the Dolphins were able to pull out a hard-fought victory over the Bulldogs who drop to 1-9 overall with the loss while CSI improves to 4-3-1.  The Bulldogs will look to bounce back against 2018 champ, Baruch, on Saturday at Brooklyn College Field at noon.  

Match Summary

-On an unlucky turn events, CSI was credited for their first net on an own goal that went off of Brooklyn in 51'.
-The Dolphins added an insurance goal in 82' on a through ball scored by Lirim Gjonbalaj assisted by Bryant Navarro.  
-CSI outshot the Bulldogs 16-2 for match.  Both of BC's shots were saved.  
-Brooklyn sophomore keeper, Lorenzo Davies, finished with seven saves in all ninety minutes in goal.
