Bronx, NY---In a makeup match from October 16, the Brooklyn College women's soccer fell to Lehman College this afternoon, 1-0, in their regular season finale.  Brooklyn drops to 4-11-1 overall and 2-3 in conference play with the loss while Lehman improves to 4-10 and 4-1 in conference play.  The Bulldogs enter the CUNYAC Championships as the No.4 seed and will take on the No. 1 seed in the semifinal round next Saturday, November 2.  

Match Summary

-A 0-0 stalemate through a period and a half, Lehman's Melanie Huerta scored the game-winner in 70' on a an assist from Emily Herrera.  
-Despite being outshot 19-4 for the match, the Bulldogs did create scoring opportunities with three of their shots on-goal.  Bulldog junior forward, Anna Curran, finished with two shots-on-goal for the match. 
-Lehman finished with a slight 2-1 advantage in corner kicks.
-BC senior goalie, Carmen Proffitt, finished with 11 saves on the afternoon in all ninety minutes in the net.
