Wayne, NJ---The Brooklyn College women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (14-25, 15-25, 18-25) non-conference decision at William Paterson University this evening. Brooklyn drops to 14-11 overall with the loss while the Pioneers improved to 12-11 on their Senior Night. The Bulldogs will look to snap a two-match skid on Saturday in a non-conference trimatch to close out the regular season at Kean University where they will take on the host at 12pm and Misericordia University at 2pm.
Match Summary
-Unfortunately, the Bulldogs weren't able to put an extensive rally together all night and were plagued with 26 errors through the three games.
-After dropping the first game, BC did jump out to a 2-0 lead lead to start the second game with a kill and a service ace. However, WPU regained the lead for good in the game with a 4-0 run for an 11-7 advantage.
-Brooklyn took an early 7-6 lead looking to avoid a sweep, but the Pioneers responded with a twelve-point rally running away with the match.

Ashley Fung, put away a match-high 14 kills. Freshman outside hitter,
Madison Cronk added nine kills.

Yana Shaposhnikova, came up with a match-high 17 digs.
