Brooklyn, NY---Looking for their third straight win in a row, the Brooklyn College women's soccer team dropped a 4-1 decision at home to Rutgers-Newark this evening falling to 4-7-1 overall on the season.  Rutgers-Newark improved to 7-5-1 with the non-conference win.  The Bulldogs have a week to prepare for Sarah Lawrence College on the road on October 14 at 7pm.  

Match Summary
-The Scarlet Raiders jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the match's opening 15 minutes.  All three goals were scored by RUN forward, Sabria Glasgow.  
-Brooklyn settled in and kept the Scarlet Raiders scoreless for the remainder of the first half.  
-BC junior forward, Anna Curran, got the Bulldogs on the board in 35' beating the wall on a free kick from the top of the box.  
-The Bulldogs continued their stingy defense in the second half, but RUN found a seam in 78' on a corner kick set piece for the match's final goal. 
-Brooklyn keeper had solid evening in the net finishing with eight saves in all 90 minutes of action.
