Bulldogs Play to Draw At Bryn Athyn, 0-0

Bryn Athyn, PA---After ninety minutes of regulation and two ten minute overtimes, the Brooklyn College women's soccer team would return to New York deadlocked with Bryn Athyn, 0-0.  Brooklyn moves to 0-1-1 with the tie while Bryn Athyn goes to 1-2-1.  The Bulldogs will have the next three days to prep for their Home Opener against local non-conference foe, St. Joseph's Brooklyn, on Saturday, September 14, at 12pm.  

Match Summary

-BC senior keeper, Carmen Proffitt, played a key role, finishing with 15 saves as the Bulldogs were out-shot 21-10 for the match including 15-4 in shots-on-goal. 
-Brooklyn would out-shoot the Lions 4-1 in the double overtime.  Sophomore midfielder, Rachel Gomez, managed a shot-on-goal in each of the two overtimes.  

Leading the Bulldogs

-Junior forward, Anna Curran, finished with a team-high four shots.  
-Both of Gomez's shots for the match were on-goal.  

Leading the Lions

-Both Maggie McCabe and Payton Gormley finished with four shots including three on-goal a piece.
-Allie Warren finished with four saves in all 110 minutes of play.
