Union, NJ---The Brooklyn College men's soccer team dropped its fourth straight match to start the 2019 Season this afternoon, falling at Kean University, 2-0, in non-conference action.  Kean improves to 5-2 with the win.  Next up: The Bulldogs will be home on Wednesday, September 18, to host Sarah Lawrence College, at 5:30 pm.  

Match Summary

-Kean was the busier team offensively all afternoon, out-shooting the Bulldogs 34-2 for the match.  
-The home team struck first in 9'.  Kean added an insurance goal in 69'.  
-Brooklyn's lone shot-on-goal came in 86' hit by junior midfielder, Alex Sosa, but saved.

-Freshman defender, Menelik Kaza-Amlak, and Sosa had Brooklyn's two shots for the match.
-Sophomore keeper, Lorenzo Davies, had 11 saves on the afternoon.

Leading Kean

-Alex Nicol took a team-high eight shots including a pair on goal and had the game-winner.
-Fanor Arango had Kean's other goal for the match.  
-Malcom Moreira finished with a save and a clean sheet.
