Purchase, NY---For the second match in only three days, the Brooklyn College men's soccer team dropped another heartbreaker in overtime, tonight to Purchase College, 2-1.  Brooklyn falls to 0-7 overall with the non-conference loss while the Panthers improve to 4-2.  The Bulldogs will look for their first win in their conference opener against Hunter College at Randall's Island at 3:00 pm.  

Match Summary

-BC junior midfielder, Alex Zecena, put the Bulldogs on the board first in 31' by beating the goalie one-on-one after the Purchase defense collapsed.  
-Purchase scored the equalizer shortly before the end of the first half at 41' on  through ball to a shot that grazed BC keeper Lorenzo Davies' fingertips.  
-The teams would remained tied for the next hour of play before the Panthers ended the match in 105' on another through ball.  
-Purchase out-shot Brooklyn 29-13 for the match including 8-6 in shots-on-goal. 
-Davies finished with five saves in all 105 minutes of action.
