Randall's Island, NY---The Brooklyn College men's soccer team dropped its conference opener on the road this afternoon, falling to Hunter College, 3-1.  Brooklyn drops to 0-8 with the loss while Hunter 2-5-1 overall in their conference opener.  The Bulldogs will look to bounce back on Saturday, September 28, at home against Lehman College at 2:30 pm following the conclusion of the women's match.  

Match Summary

-The Hawks jumped on the Bulldogs early in the match, scoring their first goal in 2'.  
-Hunter scored the game-winner in 28' to take a 2-0 halftime lead. 
-The home team added their third goal of the match in 48'.  
-Trailing 3-0, the Bulldogs in 71' on a penalty kick converted by senior midfielder, Stewart Bailon, for his first net of the season.  
-Hunter out-shot Brooklyn 23-9 for the match including 11-5 in shots-on-goal.  
-BC sophomore keeper, Lorenzo Davies, finished with eight saves in all ninety minutes of action.
