8Brooklyn, NY---Winners of their last two matches, the Brooklyn College women's soccer team's streak was snapped by CCNY this afternoon, 3-0, in CUNYAC action at Brooklyn College Field. BC drops to 2-6-1 overall and 1-2 in CUNYAC while CCNY improved to 4-5 and 1-1 in CUNYAC. The Bulldogs will look to bounce back in non-conference play at home on Tuesday, October 1, against Valley Forge at 6pm.
Match Summary
-All of CCNY's damage was done in the first half. Gabrielle Duchaussee scored the game-winner in 11'. Ingrid Rosario extended the lead to 2-0 on a penalty kick in 26'. Duchaussee picked up her third point of the match with an assist to Maria Tomais in a two-on-one break against BC's goalie.
-The Beavers outshot the Bulldogs 23-4 for the match but only 4-3 with shots on-frame.
