Farmingdale, NY---The Brooklyn College women's volleyball team came out with a split at this mornming's non-conference trimatch at Farmingdale State. BC defeated the host, 3-1 (25-21, 15-25, 25-14, 25-21), in the first match of the day before falling to Ramapo College, 3-0 (25-13, 25-17, 25-15), in the second match of the day. Brooklyn moves to 2-3 overall with the split. Brooklyn returns home on Tuesday, September 10, to host Maritime College at 7:00 pm.
Match Summary vs. Farmingdale State
-Defensively, Brooklyn was the better team on the ground, finishing with 63 digs to Farmingdale's 53.
-Brooklyn was also more efficient offensively, hitting .179 to the home team's .142.
-Sophomore setter,
Ezri Shor, and freshman outside hitter,
Madison Cronk, combined for 29 of Brooklyn's 50 kills.

-Shor finished with a match-high 15 kills and added 14 assists. Cronk added 14 kills. She also served up three aces for the match.

Kate Meltsin, finished with a match-high 26 assists.

Yana Shaposhnikova, had a matchhogh 21 digs.

-Ramapo set the tone in the first set and never looked back controlling every statistical category in the match.
