Bulldogs Win Fourth Straight at CCNY

New York, NY---With a balanced scoring attack, the Brooklyn College men's basketball won their fourth straight at CCNY this evening, 78-62.  Brooklyn improves to 7-8 overall and 4-1 in CUNYAC with the victory while CCNY drops to 0-15 and 0-6 with the conference loss.  The Bulldogs will look to extend their win-streak to five on Wednesday, January 22, as they host John Jay College in the second part of a CUNYAC doubleheader, at 7:15pm.  

Game Summary
-With eleven players scoring on the night, four Bulldogs reached double-figures.
-Leading 13-12 in the early minutes of the game, the Bulldogs went on a 6-0 run sparked by a three drained by senior guard Michel Tesoriero, taking a 19-12 advantage with 11:15 left in the first half. 
-Brooklyn closed out the first half with a 5-0 run capped by a three-point make buried by junior guard Kayin Olajide at the buzzer, giving the Bulldogs a 46-30 halftime lead.  
-BC made 11 three-point field goals to CCNY's seven for the game. 
-The Beavers opened the second half with a 10-2 run, cutting BC's lead to 48-42 with 16:48 to go in the game.  However, that is as close as the home team would get. 
-Already holding a 53-46 advantage, the Bulldogs went on a 13-2 run to put the Beavers away for good with ten minutes remaining in regulation.  During the run, senior guard, Orri Cohen, sank a pair of threes.  
-The BC bench outscored CCNY's 41-6 for the contest.

Leading the Bulldogs
-Senior guard, Jordan Wright, scored a team-high 14 points.  
-Tesoriero, Cohen, and junior guard, Noah Shy, added 12 points a piece.  Tesoriero added five assists and four steals to his line.  

Leading the Beavers
-Yassine Sakhi and Isaiah Denard scored 16 points each. Sakhi just missed a double-double, grabbing a game-high nine boards. 
-Daniel Piszczatowski added ten points and blocked four shots.
