Brooklyn, NY---In a Battle of Bedford Avenue, the Brooklyn men's basketball team rallied late, but wasn't able to come back from a big deficit, eventually falling at Medgar Evers, 85-74.  BC drops to 2-14 overall and 1-5 in CUNYAC with the conference loss.  MEC improves to 5-11 and 2-5 with the victory at home.  The Bulldogs will look to bounce back at home on Friday against Baruch with a 7:15 pm tip-off following the women's game.

With the Bulldogs leading 9-7 in the first five minutes of play, Medgar Evers took the lead for good beginning with a 19-0 run sparked by three straight three-point makes.  The Cougars would go on to lead by as many as 30 points halfway through the second half.

The Bulldogs did put up a fight in the final ten minutes of play, going on a 17-0 run to cut the home team's lead down to 84-74 in final final minute.  However, time would run out for the Bulldogs.
