Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Men's Basketball Falls to First Place Baruch, 91-64

Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Men's Basketball Team played an excellent first half, holding the lead for much of the period, and going into the locker room tied at 39, but unfortunately could not replicate the effort in the second half, falling to Baruch, 91-64.  The Bearcats improve to 14-4, 8-0 CUNYAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 2-15, 1-6.

The game turned around early in the second half, as after a Kayin Olajide three-pointer gave Brooklyn the 42-41 advantage, Baruch went on a 31-5 run, taking a commanding 25-point advantage.

Brooklyn's Kayin Olajide was excellent in defeat, scoring 17 points, grabbing 8 boards and nabbing 4 steals. Zuric Harvey poured in 12 points and a team-high 6 assists for the Bulldogs as well.

Adnan Bajrami's 17 points led five players in double figures for the Bearcats.

Brooklyn will prepare for two big conference games, as they face the same opponent twice in three days, first traveling to John Jay on Sunday, and then returning to West Quad on Tuesday to host the Bloodhounds.  The Sunday contest was a make-up for a postponement earlier this month.
