Brooklyn, NY----Putting an exclamation point on their Home Opener, the Brooklyn College men's volleyball rolled to a 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-17) sweep of Purchase College at the West Quad Center on Tuesday.  The Bulldogs first win of the season, BC moves to 1-2 overall while the Panthers dropped their season opener.  Brooklyn will look to keep their momentum going at home as they host Sarah Lawrence next Friday, February 4.  

Scoring first to start every set, the Bulldogs hit .303 to the Panthers' .113 for the match.  The more efficient team, Brooklyn finished with only 8 errors to PC's 21 on the evening.  

The Bulldogs would survive a scare in the second set.  Trailing Purchase 22-20 down the stretch, the Bulldogs would rally for five straight scores to win the second set.  

Brooklyn was led by Zhao Ming Li's team-high 9 kills.  He also finished with a match-high 8 digs.  Admir Cekic served up a match-high 3 aces to go along with 6 kills and 2 blocks.  Brian Fok set for a team-high 21 assists.  

Purchase was led by Jeremiah Hunt's match-high 13 kils.
