Bulldogs Win Second Straight at Home Over St. Joe's Brooklyn, 3-1

Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College men's volleyball team picked up their second straight win at home with a non-conference victory over St. Joseph's Brooklyn, 3-1 (25-20, 19-25, 25-14, 25-12), on Tuesday night.  Brooklyn improves to 2-2 over with the win while St. Joe's drops to 0-3.  The Bulldogs remain home on Friday for a makeup match with Sarah Lawrence at 7pm.  

With the score tied 9-9 in the first set, the Bulldogs went on a five-score rally to take the lead for good and go up 1-0.  The Bears responded in the second set with a late six-point rally that gave them a 23-17 advantage, and eventually closed out the set on a Brooklyn service error.  Brooklyn bounced back and cruised through the next two sets for the win.  

The Bulldogs put away 47 kills to the Bears' 17 on the evening.  BC also had a sizeable advantage in service aces, 15-10.  

Brooklyn was led Admir Cekic's match-high 15 kills to go along with six digs.  Omar Rezika finished with a match-high four blocks.  Junior setter, Brian Fok finished with 39 assists.  

St. Joe's Brooklyn was led Ramizjon Khudoyorov's team-high five kills.
