Women's XC Competes in NJIT Highlander Invitational

Newark, NJ---The Brooklyn College women's cross country competed in the New Jersey Institute of Technology Highlander Invitational on Saturday, finishing in 25th Place in a pool of NCAA Division I, II, III, and two-year schools.  Seton Hall won the event followed by St. Thomas Aquinas and Felician.  Next Up: The Bulldogs will compete in the St. Joseph's Long Island Invitational at Sunken Meadow Park on Saturday, October 15.  

MEET RESULTS

Leading the Bulldogs (5K Race)
  • Fatima Aftab came in first for BC and 140th out of 186 runners that cross the finish line with a time of 29:23.0. 
  • Lori Tsang finished second for BC and 143rd overall with a time of 29:46.0. 
  • Nana Kiziriya rounded out the top-three for Brooklyn finishing 167th overall with a time of 36:19.0.
