BC Women Fall to #3 NYU at West Quad

Brooklyn, NY---The #3 ranked NYU Violets Came into West Quad and showed the reason for their high preseason ranking, working their way to an 87-49 win over Brooklyn.  The Bulldogs, who play three games on the week, will return home on Friday to host Lehman in their first CUNYAC contest at 7:15.
 
The Rundown
  • After falling behind by 17 after the first quarter, Brooklyn opened the second on an 11-6 run to cut the deficit to 12.
  • The Violets were too tough from the perimeter in the first half, knocking down 12-20 from beyond the arc, including six made threes from Erica Miller.
  • NYU out-assisted BC 24-11 on the evening.  
Leading the Bulldogs
  • Gianna Gotti led the Bulldogs with 10 points and four assists.
  • Ericka James added 9 points, with four assists and a team-high six rebounds.
  • Aleah Rafat added 9 points, knocking down a team-high three 3-pointers.
