Bulldogs Complete Dramatic Comeback at St. Joe's Brooklyn, 3-2

Brooklyn, NY----Trailing 2-1, the Brooklyn College won the fourth set and staged a dramatic comeback in the fifth set for a 3-2 (25-20, 20-25, 26-28, 25-19, 16-14) non-conference win at St.Joseph's Brooklyn on Tuesday.  BC improves to 3-2 with their second non-conference victory in a row while the Bears drop to 1-3 with the loss at home.  Next Up: Brooklyn stays local with another trip inside the borough to Pratt on Thursday at 7pm.  

The Rundown
  • Brooklyn won the first set after outscoring the Bears 6-2 down the stretch capped by an Aleah Rafat service ace.  The home team responded in the next two sets, pulling out a thrilling victory in the third set after trailing 26-25.  Brooklyn would regroup to force a deciding set after capitalizing on four unanswered points to take a 19-15 lead.  Despite finding themselves in an 8-2 hole to start the fifth set, the Bulldogs clawed their way back, scoring the last six points of the match.
