Jersey City, NJ---The Brooklyn College women's volleyball team hit a bump on the road, falling at New Jersey City University, 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-23), on Thursday. BC moves to 7-7 overall with the non-conference loss while the Gothic Knights improve to 9-5. Next Up: The Bulldogs remain on the road on Saturday as BC travels to Montclair State for a trimatch against Mt. St. Mary at 1pm and the host at 3pm.
The Rundown
- NJCU got out to sizable leads early in the first two sets to secure a comfortable 2-0 advantage in the match. Brooklyn didn't go away easily in the third set, taking a late 21-19 lead before the Gothic Knights rallied for four straight scores and close out the match.
