Bulldogs Pull Out Draw with Pratt in Home Opener

Brooklyn College Field----In a back-and-forth borough battle, the Brooklyn College Men's Soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with Pratt Institute on Wednesday.  Brooklyn moves to 0-2-1 overall with the non-conference tie while the Cannoneers slide to 0-1-1.  Next Up: The Bulldogs make a short trip down Flatbush Ave. to Aviator Field Complex to take on St. Joseph's Brooklyn on Saturday, September 10, at 8pm.  

The Rundown
  • Brooklyn got on the board first and early, as Jordi Hernandez aired one out over the keeper's head on an assist from Alex Mishiyiv in 6'. 
  • Pratt scored the equalizer just a minute into the second half on an Andre Buchtskiy goal via a feed from Jacob Hamilton. 
  • The teams would play to a stalemate for the remainder of the match despite a couple of scoring opportunities for each school down the stretch.  
  • Brooklyn out-shot Pratt 9-7 for the match including 2-1 in shots-on-goal.
