Camden, NJ----Playing in their second non-conference trimatch in as many days, the Brooklyn College Women's Volleyball team closed out a busy weekend with a split at Rutgers-Camden on Sunday. In their first match of the afternoon, the Bulldogs defeated Immaculata U., 3-1 (25-23, 19-25, 25-22, 25-22), before falling to the host, 3-0 (25-10, 25-12, 25-14). Brooklyn moves to 6-8 overall with their second straight split.

- The Bulldogs will have a few days to recover from the packed weekend before hosting Rutgers-Newark at the West Quad Gymnasium at Thursday at 4pm.
How It Happened (vs. Immaculata)
- Trailing 16-15, the Bulldogs turned the tables with five straight scores including back-to-back aces served up by sophomore setter, Amra Mulic. The Mighty Macs came back and with BC clinging to a 24-23 lead, junior outside hitter, Aleah Rafat, delivered the dagger with a kill.
- Immaculata tied the match thanks in part to scoring five of the last six points of the second set.
- Brooklyn bounced back in the third sets and after a five-point rally the Bulldogs grabbed a 12-6 lead that IU wasn't able to recover from.
- The Bulldogs jumped out to a 4-0 lead to start the fourth set. However, Immaculata clawed their way back. Already leading 23-22, the Bulldogs scored the final two points consecutively including a match-ending kill put away by sophomore middle, Ayatallah Elkotby.
- Brooklyn served up 13 aces to the Mighty Macs' 9 for the match.
For the Bulldogs
- Elkotby and Rafat paced the Bulldogs with 9 kills each. Rafat also came up with 20 digs.
- Mulic set for a match-high 18 assists, served up three aces, and came up with 11 digs.
- Senior outside hitter, Ashley Fung, came up with 20 digs to go along with 7 kills and 4 service aces.
How It Happened (vs. RUC)
- The Bulldogs' fatigue started to show during their fourth match in two days as the Scarlet Raptors jumped out to a 6-2 lead in the opening set.
- RUC would put together clusters of rallies the next two sets that the Bulldogs wouldn't be able to recover from.
For the Bulldogs (vs. RUC)
- Fung led the way with a match-high 9 kills and 6 digs.
- Sophomore libero, Ruti Joshi, came up with a team-high 8 digs.
