Brooklyn, NY----Playing to solidify their spot in the upcoming CUNYAC Championship tournament, the Brooklyn College women's soccer team scored a pair of second half goals to defeat York College, 2-0, in their regular season finale in conference play at Aviator Field on Saturday.  Brooklyn improves to 3-9-2 overall and 1-3 in CUNYAC with the win while the Cardinals drop to 0-9 and 0-3 respectively. 
 
Next Up: The Bulldogs will wait for the official announcement for their semifinal opponent in the upcoming CUNYAC Championship Tournament. 
 
How It Happened

• A 0-0 stalemate through 76 minutes of play, Brooklyn's Angelina Vasta scored the game-winner in 77'. 
• Less than four minutes later, freshman forward, Imani Dickens, scored her second goal of the season, adding some insurance for the Bulldogs to close out the match. 
• Despite being tied with just 13 minutes to go, Brooklyn controlled the tempo the entire match, outshooting the Cardinals 31-4 including having 13 shots on-frame. 

For the Bulldogs

• Vasta ripped 9 shots including 5 on-frame for the match. 
• Dickens took four shots including three on-goal. 
• Goalkeeper Ceren Kosterelioglu recorded her first clean sheet in all 90 minutes of action.
