Brooklyn Drops Non-Conference Loss to Farmingdale

Brooklyn, NY---Searching for their first win of the season, the Brooklyn College men's basketball fell hard in a non-conference nightcap at the West Quad Center to Farmingdale State, 110-62, at the West Quad Center on Wednesday.  BC drops to 0-3 to start the young season, while the Rams improve to 4-0.

  • Brooklyn takes to the road to participate in the Roanoke Tournament on on Friday and Saturday this weekend.  The Bulldogs will take on the host on Friday at 6pm.  
How It Happened
  • The visitors came out firing from all cylinders, jumping out to a 10-3 lead in the first four minutes of the contest.  Brooklyn eased the early storm temporarily following three straight points scored by  BC junior guard, Malik Dale.  However, Farmingdale stepped on the gas again to end the first half with 59-22 advantage.  
  • Farmingdale shot 55.3% from the field on the evening while knocking down 15 three-point field goals.  Six Rams scored in double-figures, led by Michael Notias' team-high 15 points on perfect shooting night, going 5-5 from the field including 3-3 from behind the arc and 2-2 from the charity stripe.  
For the Bulldogs
  • Dale led the way with a game-high 16 points while shooting 4-6 from behind the arc.  
  • Junior guard, AJ Ahmed, chipped in nine points off of the bench.
