Brooklyn, NY----Despite hanging tough and grabbing a couple of leads in the first half, the Brooklyn College men's basketball team was eventually worn down in the second half by Stevens Institute of Technology, falling to the Ducks, 75-52, in non-conference play on Tuesday at the West Quad Center. BC drops to 1-8 overall with the loss while the Ducks improve to 7-1 with their sixth straight win.

How It Happened
- The teams played evenly through the majority of the first half. With the score tied 25-25, BC junior guard, David McFadden gave Brooklyn their final lead of the game on a layup with 5:37 left in the first frame. Stevens responded with a 9-0 run to close out the first twenty minutes of play to take a 34-27 halftime lead.
- Brooklyn junior guard, Malik Dale, was instrumental in the Bulldogs' strong first half, scoring eight points while shooting 2-3 from behind the arc.
- The Ducks opened up the second half with back-to-back three-point makes, finishing the game with their largest lead of the contest.
- Stevens shot 42% from the floor to the Bulldogs' 32% in the second half.
- Eleven players registered points for Stevens, led by Stephen Braunstein's game-high 19 while shooting 5-9 from three-point land on the evening.
For the Bulldogs
- Dale turned in a team-high 15 points while shooting 3-6 from beyond the arc. He also dished out a team-high three assists.
