Brooklyn, NY----Despite leading by ten points at halftime, the Brooklyn College men's basketball team wasn't able to hold off Pratt on the road on Thursday, falling to the Cannoneers, 79-72, in overtime. BC drops to 1-9 overall with the non-conference loss while Pratt improves to 6-5.

How It Happened
- Pratt took their first lead since halfway through the opening period, 63-61, with 1:06 remaining left in regulation. Brooklyn junior guard, David McFadden, tied the game twenty seconds later on a jumper in the paint to force overtime.
- Following a free-throw make put away by BC junior forward, Mekhi Barlow, for the first point of the extra frame, Pratt responded with a 5-0 run to take the lead for good.
- Trailing 17-10 with a little under fourteen minutes to play in the first half, Brooklyn went on an 18-0 run capped by a fast break layup finished by junior guard, Stephon McGill, to take a 26-17 lead by the 5:26 mark. McGill would give Brooklyn a 35-25 halftime advantage after another finish in the paint.
- Brooklyn was 0-4 from beyond the arc in overtime compared to Pratt's 4-5.
- The Bulldogs out-rebounded the Cannoneers, 21-15, on the offensive boards.
- Pratt's Cameron Windt scored a game-high 26 points.
For the Bulldogs
- Junior guard, Malik Dale, paced the Bulldogs with a team-high 19 points while connecting on three from beyond the arc and shooting a perfect 4-4 from the free-throw line.
- Barlow finished with one of two double-doubles on the evening for BC, scoring 15 points and grabbing a game-high 18 boards.
- McGill had the other double-double, finishing with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
- McFadden chipped in 11 points and dished out seven assists.
