Gianna Gotti's game-high 23 points and 10 steals, the Brooklyn College women's basketball team, claimed their tenth straight win at Lehman, 81-69, on Saturday. BC improves to 14-7 overall and 11-0 in CUNYAC with the conference win while Lehman drops to 8-14 and 4-7. Next Up: Brooklyn wraps up a four-game road swing at Hunter on Tuesday at 5pm.
The Rundown
- Facing a 31-25 deficit halfway through the second quarter, the Bulldogs closed out the first half on a 17-4 run for a 42-35 advantage and the lead for good.
- Brooklyn kicked their lead up to 12 early in the second half on a made three vuried by senior guard, Dasha Goodman. Brooklyn kept a double-digit lead for the rest of the third quarter. Lehman made one last ditch effort late in the fourth quarter, cutting BC's lead to as few at eight points with 3:47 remaining in the game. However, the Bulldogs responded with a 6-0 run capped by a make in the paint finished by sophomore forward, Aleah Rafat.
- Brooklyn out-rebounded Lehman 26-8 on the offensive boards, scoring 25 second chance points for the game.
- The Bulldogs came up with 24 steals on 36 Lightning turnovers.

- Gotti finished the contest with 10 field goals. She added 7 rebounds and 6 assists to her double-double.
- Goodman added 13 points while draining 3 threes for the game. She also grabbed 9 boards.
- Senior guard, Nancy Pham, chipped in 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
- Freshman guard, Dior Dorsey, scored 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds off of the bench.
- Senior guard, Ericka James, was the fifth Bulldog to reach double-figure scoring on the day, finishing with 10 points.

- Brianna Barnes and Barbara Valentin combined for 43 points, with Barnes leading the way with 22 points.
