Phoenixville, PA---The Brooklyn College women's soccer team picked up their first win of the season on Tuesday, shutting out the University of Valley Forge, 3-0 in non-conference action on the road. Freshman back, Abigail Joseph, scored the first two goals of her collegiate career in the win. Brooklyn moves to 1-3-1 overall with the victory while the Patriots drop to 0-4.

How It Happened
- Joseph scored the game-winner in the 27th minute to give BC a 1-0 advantage at the half.
- Flor Ramos netted her first goal of the season in the 51st minute before Joseph scored her second of the match just ten minutes later.
- Brooklyn was the much busier team offensively on the day, outshooting the Patriots 16-2 on match with nine shots on-frame.
