Brooklyn, NY----In a match that took three separate dates to complete due to weather, the Brooklyn College men's soccer team wasn't ale to find the equalizer on Thursday at home, falling to borough foe, St. Joseph's Brooklyn, 1-0.  BC drops to 0-4 and the Bears picked up their first win of the year, moving to 1-4.

• Brooklyn continues their non-conference slate home against St. Elizabeth University on Monday at 4:00 pm at Brooklyn College field. 

How It Happened

• The teams' first match date was cancelled right before opening kickoff on 9/9 due to a thunder storm. 
• Play would begin on 9/11 and the Bears' Francisco Garcia scored the game-winner in 14' before the match was suspended at halftime.  
• The teams wrapped up the match on 9/21 and the Bulldogs were unable to find the equalizer in the final 45 minutes of play. 
• Brooklyn finished with a slight edge in shots-on-goal, 4-3. 

For the Bulldogs

• Senior midfielder, Jordi Hernandez, led the way offensively finishing with three shots including a pair on-frame. 
• Junior goalkeeper, Hady Bakry, played all 90 minutes and finished with a pair of saves while facing nine shots.
