How It Happened:
- A mistake on the Bulldogs' defense leading to a goal from Sebastian Londono seemed to predict the one-sided match that it was set to be on paper. However, Brooklyn scored the next two goals, taking a 2-1 lead in the first half on an own goal off a free kick hit by freshman midfielder George Koufos and then a converted penalty kick by Jordi Hernandez in 38'.
- While the first half was relatively even with Brooklyn outshooting the Eagles eight to seven, St. Elizabeth controlled the tempo in the final 45 minutes keeping a 14 to 2 advantage.
- The Eagles would come back and score the next three goals including another goal from Londono, this time courtesy of an assist from Afrim Amoah-Mensah, a successful penalty kick from Alejandro Lopez, and another assisted goal by Cody Ikner from Edwin Martinez to practically seal the game.
- Brooklyn freshman midfielder, Seif Mokhtar, would score towards the very end of the game via a converted penalty kick in the final minute of the match for the final score.
