Bulldogs Win-Streak Stopped at CCNY

New York, NY----The Brooklyn College men's basketball fell to CCNY, 85-45, on Friday, snapping the Bulldogs' three-game win-streak.  Brooklyn moves 4-14 overall and 4-3 in CUNYAC with the conference loss while the Beavers improve to 11-7 and 4-3.

  • The Bulldogs return home to take on Baruch on Tuesday, 1/23, at 7:15 pm. 
How It Happened
  • A slow offensive start had the Bulldogs trailing the home team 29-9 with a little over seven minutes to play in the first half.  Brooklyn would never be able to climb their way out of the hole for the remainder of the contest. 
  • BC shot 30.5% from the field as a team to the Beavers' 56.6%. 
  • All five CCNY starters scored in double-figures on the evening, led by Yassine Sakhi's game-high 25 points. 
For the Bulldogs
  • Junior guard, Aaron Davis, scored team-high 11 points and came up with a pair steals. 
  • Abdoulaye Gueye came off of the bench to scored nine points and grab four rebounds. 
  • Luqman Ahmed chipped in eight points.
