Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College women's volleyball team extended their win-streak to five matches on Tuesday, rolling to a 3-0 (25-6, 25-2, 25-3) conference sweep of York at home.  Brooklyn improves to 10-8 and 3-1 in CUNYAC with the win while York drops to 1-10 and 0-4 respectively.  Next Up: Booklyn looks to keep their streak going on Saturday as they return to their non-conference slate at Arcadia at 3pm.  

How It Happened

• Brooklyn set the tone from the opening serve, jumping out to a 9-0 lead and never looked back.  Leading 9-2 in the second set, Brooklyn took a 2-0 advantage in the match on a 16-0 run.  Holding a 4-2 advantage in the third set, Brooklyn rallied for 16 straight scores to runaway with the set and match.  
• BC served up 32 aces as a team on the evening.  The Bulldogs also hit an efficient .349.

• Aleah Rafat led the way with 8 kills while hitting .583, 2 service aces, and 10 digs.  
• Ruti Joshi served up 12 aces on the evening.  
• Dinora Gomez contributed 5 kills while hitting .833.
