Brooklyn, NY----Despite a spirited comeback late in the second half, the Brooklyn College men's basketball team wasn't able to overcome a 20-point deficit, falling to CCNY, 69-56, in their regular season finale at the West Quad Center on Senior Night. Brooklyn moves to 7-18 overall and 7-7 in CUNYAC with the conference loss while CCNY improves to 18-7 and 11-3 respectively. Prior to the game seniors,

How It Happened
- With the five seniors playing the first five minutes of the game, the Bulldogs hung in with the Beavers, taking a 10-9 lead by the 15:09 mark following a Thraysbule layup. However, the visitors would respond with a 13-0 run for a 21-9 advantage by the 12:09 mark and would maintain a double-digit lead until halftime.
- The Beavers would extend their lead to as many as 20 points with 17:44 left in regulation.
- Trailing 54-39 with 12:58 to go in the second half, Brooklyn would go on a 6-0 run back-to-back McFadden three-point makes cutting the Beaver lead to single-digits for the first time since early in the first half.
- Junior guard, Malik Dale, knocked down a three to cut the CCNY lead down to 57-50 with 9:25 remaining in regulation. Brooklyn cut the Beaver lead down to as few as seven points on two other occasions down the stretch. However, that is as close as they would get as the Beavers would pull away in the final minute of action.
- The Beavers were the better team in transition on the night, outscoring BC 21-3 on the break. Brooklyn won the battle from beyond the arc, shooting 7-18 on the evening to the Beavers' 3-12.
For the Bulldogs
- Dale led the way offensively with a team-high 13 points while shooting 3-5 from behind the arc.
- McFadden finished with 11 points three assists.
- Thraysbule notched his third straight double-double finishing with 10 points and a game-high 13 rebounds.
- Junior forward, Mehki Barlow, provided a spark off of the bench down low finishing 10 points and eight boards.
