Brooklyn, NY----Paced by Destiny Drummond's game-high 20 points, the Brooklyn College women's basketball team cruised to an 86-26 conference victory over York College at the West Quad Center on Wednesday.  BC improves to 14-8 overall and 9-2 in CUNYAC with the win while the Cardinals drop to 0-13 and 0-7 respectively.

• The Bulldogs head down Bedford Avenue for another conference match-up at Medgar Evers at 6pm on Friday.  

How It Happened

• Drummond scored eight of Brooklyn's first twelve points as the Bulldogs jumped out to a 12-0 advantage to start the contest.  Brooklyn went on to score 27 points in the first quarter.  
• The Bulldogs continued to roll as three other players reached double-figures in scoring on the evening.  
• Brooklyn's stingy defense held York to single-digit scoring in every quarter on the night.  
• BC knocked down 12 three-point field goals as a team while only yielding one to the Cardinals.  

For the Bulldogs

• Drummond shot 7-10 for the game from the field and a perfect 4-4 from behind the arc.  She also grabbed four rebounds on the evening.  
• Junior forward, Mary Dolgin, scored 12 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for her first double-double of the season.  
• Sophomore guards, Sandra Diaz and Cheyenne Castellano, chipped in 11 points a piece off of the bench while knocking down 3 three-point field goals each.  Diaz also came up with three steals on the evening.
