Brooklyn, NY----Shooting a perfect 6-6 from the free-throw line to ice the contest in the 21 seconds of regulation, the Brooklyn College men's basketball team pulled out their third straight win at Medgar Evers, 70-64, on Friday. BC sweeps the CUNYAC Battle of Brooklyn with the win, improving to 7-17 overall and 7-6 in CUNYAC while the Cougars drop to 2-22 and 0-13 respectively.

How It Happened
- With the score tied, 36-36, at halftime, the home team would open the second half on a 9-0 run.
- Trailing the Cougars 61-53 with 12:39 to go in regulation, Brooklyn went on an important 5-0 run sparked by a Serge Thraysbule three-point make. Malik Dale made it a one-possession following a made jumper at the 10:52 mark.
- After MEC kicked their lead back up to five points, Brooklyn continued to knock on the door, cutting the advantage to 53-52 on a Thraysbule lay-in with 7:31 to go.
- Zuric Harvey eventually tied the game for the Bulldogs on a made jumper with 5:53 left in the contest. Brooklyn would take the lead for good thanks to six straight points scored by junior guard, Stephon McGill, to give BC a 60-54 advantage with just under four minutes to play.
- The Cougars wouldn't go away easily, cutting the BC lead to two points on a pair of occasions in the final 2:23 of action. However, the Bulldogs would answer the call and eventually closed out the game at the foul line.
- Brooklyn jumped out to a 5-0 lead to start the contest before the teams went back-and-forth with neither team taking more than a two-possession lead through the first half of play.
- BC would benefit from Medgar Evers' 20 turnovers, scoring 26 points. Brooklyn also outrebounded the Cougars 17-7 on the offensive boards.
For the Bulldogs
- McGill led the way offensively finishing with a game-high 18 points. He also grabbed 11 rebounds for one of two of Brooklyn's double-doubles.
- Finishing with his second straight double-double, Thraysbule scored 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds while also coming up with five steals and dishing out four assists.
- Dale finished with 17 points while shooting 2-3 from behind the arc.
