New York, NY----Despite a strong stand in the opening set, the Brooklyn College men's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (28-26, 25-21, 25-15) decision at Baruch College in conference play on Thursday. Brooklyn moves to 7-11 overall and 3-5 in CUNYAC with the loss while the defending conference champs improve to 10-6 and 7-0 respectively.

How it Happened
- Coming close to taking their first set from the Bearcats since 2018, Brooklyn had a set-point advantage on Baruch down the stretch. However, the home team managed to rally for three straight scores including back-to-back kills for a 1-0 lead in the match.
- Brooklyn jumped out to a 6-2 lead in the second set beginning with a kill put down by Tommy Min for the first point. The teams battled through most of the set before Baruch outscored the visitors, 7-1, down the stretch to secure a 2-0 advantage.
- The Bulldogs got ahead early in the third set, 3-0, before Baruch took control beginning with a six-score rally. Baruch would close out the match with three straight scores.
- Baruch hit .214 to Brooklyn's -,033 for the match.

- Freshman outside hitter, Aaron Siu, led the offensive attack with a team-high 6 kills and served up 3 aces. He also came up with a team-high 7 digs.
- Jiaian Flanders continues to impress with his improvement, finishing with 5 kills and 3 service aces.
- Junior middle, Aziz Abdusamiev, had a day at the net, finishing with a team-high three blocks.
